Read the Introduction
If you are reading this, you are likely an entrepreneur (or desire to be) who was guided more by the work you were called to do than you were about the money you could make from the work. But let’s be real; the money is important. I wholeheartedly believe that you can and should profit from your purpose. The Bible states in Luke 10:7 that the worker deserves His wages. But because this is not just work for you–it is a higher calling–there is more to it than just showing up and doing the work. Because your business is God-inspired, purpose-aligned, and designed to impact the world, you want to make sure that you stay in alignment with God and that you meet all the prerequisites for what He has promised you. I realize that may not always be easy.
On one end of the spectrum, in the face of rejection, slow progress, a lack of support, and perhaps even a lack of clarity, the vision He gave you can get blurry and you can begin to doubt yourself and your purpose. On the other end of the spectrum, you may forget who called you and who gave you “the power to get wealth.”
I know the importance of staying in the face of God and using His word as a mirror to evaluate my alignment with what He has called me to and purposed me for on this earth. When I tried to do it my way, I failed. When I became afraid, what I feared became my reality. When I tried to do it by myself, my progress was slow. When I didn’t recognize the need for what I was equipped and called to offer to the world, those who needed me most remained lost. Sis, there is no time to waste. The world needs you now and it needs you confident, competent and courageous. This 60-day journal is designed to help you become that and more–in God.
My prayer is that, as you move through the devotional over the next 52 weeks, you will see yourself as God sees you in all of your wonderful gloriousness; believe that His promises are not only true but true for you; step boldly into the plan and purpose He has created just for you; manifest at the highest level His pressed down, shaken together, and running over blessings in your life and business; and shake the planet while doing it all with ease and flow.
